Woodruff came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Mountain View Prep Stars to the tune of 53-20. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.
Sadie Burnette was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. That's the most boards she has posted since back in November of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Jensyn Turner, who posted 13 points in addition to six assists and three steals.
Woodruff smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive matchups.
Woodruff pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game.
