Natalia's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Leyla Saenz led the charge by scoring 21 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Anaya Jones, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Natalia's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-20. As for Dilley, they are on a 21-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-27.
Natalia will head out on the road to square off against the Owls at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dilley, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Cowboys at 6:15 p.m. Cotulla is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 12-game streak of away losses.
