The Hall Titans will be playing at home against the Manchester Red Hawks at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Hall posted their biggest win yet this season on Monday. They put the hurt on Bristol Central with a sharp 69-49 win. Given Hall's advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Bristol Central is ranked 118th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Manchester beat East Hartford 81-76 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Manchester.
Derrick Sheets continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Quentin Ford was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Hall has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Manchester, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Hall skirted past Manchester 53-50 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Will Hall repeat their success, or does Manchester have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
