Seeger is 7-2 against Faith Christian since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Seeger Patriots will be home for the holidays to greet the Faith Christian Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Seeger focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Seeger beat Tri-County 46-37. Given Seeger's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while Tri-County is ranked 416th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Seeger's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Luke Pluimer led the charge by scoring 13 points along with 5 rebounds. The contest was Pluimer's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Christian Holland was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 86-53, which was the final score in Faith Christian's tilt against Sheridan on Tuesday. Faith Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The win makes it two in a row for Seeger and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Faith Christian, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Seeger took their victory against Faith Christian when the teams last played back in November of 2022 by a conclusive 75-55. Will Seeger repeat their success, or does Faith Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
