The Annapolis Christian Academy Warriors came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past Lifegate Christian 64-23 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-8.
Cameron Mills was his usual excellent self, scoring 13 points along with four steals. Brogen Easter was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
Despite the loss, Lifegate Christian still got an impressive performance from Rowe Hansen, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Hansen has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last six times he's played.
Even though they lost, Lifegate Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Annapolis Christian Academy only pulled down 12 offensive rebounds.
Annapolis Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Lifegate Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Annapolis Christian Academy will take on the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sunnybrook Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Lifegate Christian, they will be playing at home against the at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
