Hazen's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They wrapped up 2024 with a 70-52 win over the Foss Falcons. The Highlanders' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Quincy Brown went supernova for Hazen, going 11 of 19 en route to 24 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Hollander, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 14 points.

Hazen's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Foss, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Hazen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 86-45 loss against Auburn Mountainview on the 27th. As for Foss, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 50-41 defeat against Kelso on the 27th.
