The biggest upset of the week belonged to Strath Haven, who took down 162nd ranked Strath Haven, 36-35. Patrick Moriarty threw for 381 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 44 yards in the win.
Ridley extended the longest winning streak in Central this week by beating Penncrest, 47-20. This was the team's 10th consecutive win.
Kenny Brown was the best wideout in the league this week as Harriton topped the Panthers. Brown tallied seven receptions for 196 yards. Juwan Valentine helped Harriton's passing attack out by catching three balls for 59 yards.
Rob Murphy was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 15 carries, he ran for 147 yards as Springfield beat Strath Haven. Cameron Durham also contributed to the rushing game with 103 yards on the ground.
Harriton's Moriarty and Brown have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Central in both passing and receiving yards. Moriarty has thrown for 2115 yards this season, while Brown, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 34 catches for 745 yards. Durham from the Cougars leads the league in rushing with 756 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Marple Newtown takes on the Lions. The Fightin' Tigers are currently in eighth, while Penncrest is in 10th.
Radnor moved up to 411 from 440 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Red Raiders were able to make move up by topping Lower Merion 35-7.
