Fort Wayne Bishop Luers is a perfect 10-0 against Fort Wayne North Side since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Knights will take on the Legends at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fort Wayne Bishop Luers has seven straight victories, Fort Wayne North Side has 22 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Monday, Fort Wayne Bishop Luers got the win against Southern Wells by a conclusive 11-2.
Milo Diehm made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

In other pitching news, Tom Hogg looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
Back at the plate, Fort Wayne Bishop Luers got a massive performance out of Jacob Felger, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Felger has become a key player for the Knights: the team is 12-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin West, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Fort Wayne Bishop Luers kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southern Wells only managed six hits.
Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Fort Wayne North Side's offense. They lost 15-0 to Fort Wayne Wayne on Monday.
Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-9. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Fort Wayne North Side, their loss dropped their record down to 0-20.
Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's contest. The Knights have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.3 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Fort Wayne North Side, though, as they've been averaging only 1.4 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Fort Wayne Bishop Luers continue to outrun the ball?
