The Pennsauken Indians lost against the Bordentown Scotties back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Pennsauken took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bordentown. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pennsauken in their matchups with Bordentown: they've now lost three in a row.
Bordentown got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Myles Hansford out in front who scored 16 points. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Eunmin Choi, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Pennsauken bumped their record down to 0-2 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bordentown, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pennsauken will be home for the holidays to greet Holy Cross at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Bordentown will be home for the holidays to greet Westampton Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Westampton Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Wednesday.
