While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, the Strathmore Spartans were not quite the Corcoran Panthers's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. Strathmore was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Corcoran apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played two weeks ago.

Roman Hernandez, which was the first he's scored this season.
Strathmore's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9-5. As for Corcoran, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-16-3.
Strathmore will square off against Granite Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Granite Hills is coming into the matchup with nine straight wins at home, meaning Strathmore will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. Corcoran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
