Matt Fahey gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in February on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He is becoming a predictor of Sierra Lutheran's success: when he allows at most one hit the team is 2-1 (and 1-9-1 when he doesn't).

Fahey's strong effort led Sierra Lutheran over Silver Stage and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Nighthawks are limping into the matchup having lost 14 straight on the road dating back to last season.
