South County was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight  loss. They lost  3-0 to the West Springfield Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Spartans this season,  with their most recent  defeat being a  3-0  loss  two weeks ago.
 The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11,  25-13.
 West Springfield can attribute much of their success to  Audrey Busch, who  had nine  digs and five  aces. That's the most  aces  Busch has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of  Addison Lopez, who  had four  aces and three  digs.
South County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for West Springfield, the  victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 23-2.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. South County is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Woodson  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Springfield will  take on  rival West Potomac  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
