Meanwhile, Unity Christian Academy put the finishing touches on their 12th blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They breezed by Morgan Park Academy on the road to the tune of 84-46. The victory was familiar territory for Unity Christian Academy who now have four in a row.
Unity Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jeremiah Johns, who almost dropped a triple-double on 18 points, 16 rebounds, and nine assists. It was the first time this season that Johns posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Donovan O'Neil, who scored 21 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Valeo Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Unity Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.
