Baseball Recap: West Muskingum Wins Going Away Against Coshocton

West Muskingum won the last time they faced Coshocton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Tornadoes came out on top against the Redskins by a score of 6-2. That looming 6-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tornadoes yet this season.

Connor Lynn was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Lynn was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Grady Dollings was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Preston Ferrell, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

West Muskingum is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Coshocton, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Muskingum will take on River View at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coshocton, they will face off against John Glenn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Redskins are facing the Little Muskies at the right time seeing as the Little Muskies are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
