They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat George Jenkins 67-20 on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-6.
Sarasota's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Paisley Binswanger, who scored 17 points along with five assists and four steals. Binswanger has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssia Bane, who scored 13 points along with six steals and five assists.
George Jenkins' loss came despite strong showings from Marykate Benham and Taylor Gibson. Benham scored eight points along with nine rebounds, while Gibson scored six points.
Sarasota's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for George Jenkins, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
