The Cleveland Hill Golden Eagles lost against the Pioneer Panthers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The match between the pair wasn't particularly close, with Cleveland Hill falling 65-48. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Loss or not, Cleveland Hill got some senior leadership from Cameron D'Hilly who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks and Jaiden Meredith who scored 18 points. D'Hilly scored a full 43.8% of Cleveland Hill's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Cleveland Hill's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pioneer, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cleveland Hill will be home for the holidays to greet Griffith Institute at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pioneer will be home for the holidays to greet Depew at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
