After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Hayward, Tennyson was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Valley Christian Vikings with a sharp  21-10 victory. The Lancers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Viridiana Leon was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing six bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's  played.  Selena Gonzalez was another key player,  scoring four  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Tennyson  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .800. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Tennyson's win bumped their record up to 2-3.
 Looking ahead, Tennyson will be playing in front of their home fans against San Lorenzo  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Tennyson is facing San Lorenzo at the right time seeing as San Lorenzo is stuck on  a  nine-game losing streak. As for Valley Christian, they will venture away from home to  square off against Making Waves Academy  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
