Despite the loss, Clarke County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Peebo Pugh rushed for 48 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 254 yards and one TD. Those three rushing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for Pugh. 90 of Pugh's passing yards were hauled in by Ja'Marion Jenkins, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
