Northern Nash extended their home winning streak to 16 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from CJ Rosser Jr.. The Northern Nash Knights breezed by the Franklinton Red Rams to the tune of 89-55 on Friday thanks in part to Rosser Jr., who went 9 of 13 en route to 26 points and five rebounds. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Kingston Little, who went 6 for 10 to rack up 17 points and six boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Despite the defeat, Franklinton had strong showings from Darius Slankard, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds, and Harrison Long, who posted 11 points. The dominant performance gave Slankard a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Chan Thomas, who put up eight points.
Northern Nash's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Franklinton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.
