Exeter-Milligan/Friend is 3-0 against Pawnee City since January of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Exeter-Milligan/Friend Bobcats will head out on the road to face off against the Pawnee City Indians at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Exeter-Milligan/Friend didn't have too much trouble with Heartland as they won 51-37. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Huskies are ranked 207th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Pawnee City humbled Lewiston with a 59-29 victory. The Indians pushed the score to 54-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers cut but never quite recovered from.

Exeter-Milligan/Friend better focus on containing Anthony Kling and Jett Farwell as the pair were huge in Pawnee City's win. Kling went 7 for 15 on his way to 20 points in addition to seven boards and three steals, while Farwell almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. Kling's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Menninga, who posted ten points.

Pawnee City was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Pawnee City pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Exeter-Milligan/Friend, their win bumped their record up to 15-2.

Everything came up roses for Exeter-Milligan/Friend against Pawnee City when the teams last played on January 14th, as the squad secured a 68-28 victory. Will Exeter-Milligan/Friend repeat their success, or does Pawnee City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
