For the first time this season, Logansport will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Tipton Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Logansport will be strutting in after a victory while Tipton will be coming in after a defeat.
On Wednesday, Logansport needed a bit of extra time to put away Manchester. They had just enough and edged out the Squires 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Berries.
Bryson Herr was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Tipton scored the most runs they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 8-5 to Maconaquah. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Braves recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Tipton also got a good showing from Max Atherton, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched.
At the plate, Tipton saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaden Gibbs, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one double. Gibbs also got a hit, marking his first of the season. Nathan Hawkins was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Logansport's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Tipton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Logansport was able to grind out a solid victory over Tipton in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, winning 4-1. Do the Berries have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
