The Crown Point Panthers waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They blew past Lake Placid 68-39 on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-18.
Trevor Harris continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 36 points and 15 rebounds. Harris is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Beeman, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Crown Point pushed their record up to 7-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Lake Placid, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crown Point will take on Keene Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keene Central is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Lake Placid, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Bolton Central at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th.
