They claimed a resounding 69-17 victory over Fortune Academy on the road. That looming 69-17 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Legacy Christian yet this season.
Legacy Christian was led to victory by Gabriel Iniguez and Nicolas Thomas. Iniguez scored 16 points along with five assists, while Thomas scored 24 points. The contest was Thomas' tenth in a row with at least ten points. Seth Harper was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and three steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Legacy Christian and bumps their season record up to 4-6. As for Fortune Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Legacy Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. Fortune Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on GEO Next Generation at 7:30 p.m. on February 1, 2024.
