Alan Overmyer was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other pitching news, Hudson Burger looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched.
Back at the plate, Carson Felts was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Casey Johnson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Barron Collier pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games. As for Aubrey Rogers, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
