With a playoff win on the line, Ukiah rose to the challenge on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Albany Cougars a 1-0 shutout. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Rios Munoz, who's now up to eight this season.

Ukiah's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Albany, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.

Ukiah has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Berkeley on the 22nd. Albany does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
