Pretty Prairie has gone 9-1 against Fairfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Pretty Prairie Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Fairfield Falcons. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Pretty Prairie was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 37-31 to Central Christian. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Amity White, who posted 11 points and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Claire Miller, who put up 11 points.
Meanwhile, Fairfield played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 60-30 loss at the hands of Attica. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 97th).
Like Pretty Prairie, Fairfield lost despite seeing results from several players. Rhylee Haskins led the charge by putting up three points and six rebounds. Tagan Metzger also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
Fairfield has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Pretty Prairie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Pretty Prairie has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 33.4 boards per game. However, it's not like Fairfield struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.1 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Pretty Prairie took their victory against Fairfield when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 46-26. Will Pretty Prairie repeat their success, or does Fairfield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
