After failing to score in their last match, Newsome made sure to put some goals up on the board against Gaither on Friday. Everything went their way against the Gaither Cowboys as they made off with a 4-1 victory. Considering Wolves have won eight games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Gaither with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sarah Widlak (2), Leyla Sanders, and Gabrielle White.

Newsome is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 53 goals over those 11 matchups. As for Gaither, they now have a losing record at 5-6-1.
