The Campus International Trailblazers and the East Tech Scarabs will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Campus International comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
After soaring to 57 points the game before, Campus International were a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They were dealt a 91-12 defeat at the hands of Glenville. While losing is never fun, Campus International can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 839th, while the Tarblooders are ranked 120th).
In what's become a running theme this season, East Tech gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 86-30 win over Bard Early College at home. East Tech pushed the score to 65-24 by the end of the third, a deficit the Raptors had no chance of recovering from.
Keshawn Ellington continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with seven assists and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Johann Gaines, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Campus International's defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12. As for East Tech, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
