The Everman Bulldogs are taking a road trip to  square off against the Seguin Cougars  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Everman's hitters haven't  had much luck over their past three  matchups, but Tuesday's   contest will give them a chance to turn things around.
Friday just wasn't the day for Everman's offense. They came up short against  Burleson on Friday, falling  9-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat the Bulldogs have suffered  since February 22nd.
Meanwhile, Seguin was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They lost  18-8 to Grand Prairie. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by  exactly ten  runs.
  Michael Grooms made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole  Two bases. while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was  Ledif Figueroa-Cotto, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Everman's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Seguin, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
 Everman was able to grind out a solid  victory over Seguin in their previous matchup  back in March of 2024, winning  8-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Everman since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
