After a string of three wins, the Alisal Trojans's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to Pioneer 55-49.
Alisal's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Gregory Cabrera, who scored 19 points along with 8 rebounds, and Adrian Cardenas who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The matchup was Cardenas' fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Alisal's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Pioneer, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
Alisal will head out on the road to face off against Gilroy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pioneer's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hollister at 5:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Hollister is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
