The Bosqueville Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Riesel Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bosqueville is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
Last Friday, Bosqueville took a serious blow against Valley Mills, falling 48-6.
Meanwhile, Riesel never let their opponents score on Friday. They came out on top against Crawford by a score of 13-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Riesel.
Riesel can attribute much of their success to Grayson Oliver, who rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries, and Gavin Oliver, who rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown.
Another reason for the win was Riesel's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Cameron Phillips and Aydrik Degrate who racked up four sacks between them.
Bosqueville's loss was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. As for Riesel, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
Bosqueville was taken down by Riesel 70-28 in their previous matchup back in November of 2022. Will Bosqueville have more luck at home instead of on the road?
