Wolfe County relied on the efforts of Caleb Creech, who scored 27 points along with five rebounds, and Corey Flinchum, who scored 26 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Creech hasn't dropped below 18 points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Brady Robinson, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Knott County Central's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.9 points per game. As for Wolfe County, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Everything came up roses for Knott County Central against the Wolves in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 85-54 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Wolfe County's Sawyer Thompson, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be that much easier for Knott County Central to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
