The Monarch Coyotes's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles at 3:00  p.m.  on February 24th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  both teams will really light up the scoreboard  on Saturday.
 Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Monarch walked away with it. They secured a  73-67 W over the Ravens on Wednesday.
  Van Nellessen continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 31 points and 15  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Graham Johnson, who  scored 17 points.
 Meanwhile, Mountain Vista scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Wednesday. They blew past Fairview 92-68. The  victory was nothing new for Mountain Vista as they're now sitting on four straight.
 Mountain Vista's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Oliver Junker led the charge by  dropping  a double-double on 17 points and 24  rebounds. Junker hasn't dropped below two  blocks for 11 straight games.  Jacob Hoefs was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 18 points and 12  assists.
 Monarch is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record  this season. As for Mountain Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 20-4.
 Monarch might still be hurting after the  70-49 loss they got from Mountain Vista  in their previous meeting  back in March of 2021. Thankfully for Monarch,  Henry Gamble (who  scored 20 points along with five  rebounds and five  steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
