Sewickley Academy came out on top against Hillel Academy  on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run third inning. Sewickley Academy was the clear victor by  a  12-2 margin over Hillel Academy. The  victory was some much needed relief for Sewickley Academy as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

 Nolan Donnelly made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. What's more,  he posted four  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  run.
 In other batting news,  Billy Pietragallo was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. He has become a key player for Sewickley Academy: the team is 2-1 when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 0-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Charlie Scally, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Sewickley Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .595. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hillel Academy only posted  an  OBP of  .200.
Sewickley Academy picked up their first home  win, bumping their record up to 2-9. As for Hillel Academy, they now  have a losing record of 2-3.
 Coming up, Sewickley Academy will face off against Monessen at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Hillel Academy, they will take on JV Opponent at 5:15  p.m.  on Wednesday.
