H-L-V extended the longest winning streak in 8-Man District 5 (8 Man) this week by beating Seymour, 56-14. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Melcher-Dallas was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting Wayne. The Saints came in at 22 in the state poll after placing at number 27 last week.
Tri-County's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Nick Watts has thrown for 581 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Spencer Steinke has 20 catches for 350 yards. Jake Brumbaugh leads the league in rushing with 78 yards.
Meskwaki Settlement and Moravia played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Meskwaki Settlement eventually emerging with a 36-34 victory.
