Napa Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Woodland Christian likes a good challenge.
In what's become a running theme this season, Napa Christian gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They really took it to Trinity Prep for the full four quarters, racking up a 80-50 victory at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 52-24.
Aidan Dayco-Green and Breydan Worth were among the main playmakers for Napa Christian as the former scored 23 points along with three steals and the latter scored 22 points along with seven assists and six steals. Worth is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Obinna (Obi) Ekezie was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and five blocks.
Meanwhile, after a 80-60 finish the last time they played, Woodland Christian and Delta decided to play a little more cautiously this time around. Woodland Christian escaped with a win on Friday against Delta by the margin of a single free throw, 1-0. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Woodland Christian has scored all year.
Napa Christian's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. As for Woodland Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.
