Brookfield (Ohio) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring nine in the fourth quarter to seal a 33-7 victory over
Youngstown Christian (Youngstown, Ohio).
The Warriors were up 21-7 at the half after taking the lead on a
Ryan Mosora touchdown run in the second quarter.
Brookfield expanded its lead to 17 points entering the fourth quarter. BHS scored once in the quarter on a field goal by
Jeremy Quinlan.
With the win the Warriors extended their winning streak to nine games. Brookfield defeated the Spartans 49-6 last week.
Mosora played well for BHS in the victory. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored 23 touchdowns on the season.
The Eagles' lone touchdown came on a 92-yard kick return in the first quarter.
The Warriors had given up an average of 11.8 points prior to the contest. Youngstown Christian came in giving up 12.1 points per game this season. YC struggled against Brookfield, which came in averaging 47.9 points per game.
The loss comes after Youngstown Christian defeated Sandy Valley 46-21 last week.
Brookfield (9-0) goes up against LaBrae in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Youngstown Christian (6-2) locks horns with Gilmour Academy in a Freelance game.
