The Kenton Ridge Cougars are taking a road trip to square off against the Indian Lake Lakers at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Kenton Ridge is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Kenton Ridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 24-0 margin over Urbana on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Ivee Rastatter made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over 4.1 innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 5-for-5.
In other batting news, JJ Davis2027 was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Chloe Glass, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Kenton Ridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 22 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Indian Lake was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Shawnee.
Indian Lake saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mackenzie Dixon, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Kenton Ridge pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Indian Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
