The Academy of the New Church Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Sunday. They blew past Shabach Christian Academy Blue 91-51 on the road. Considering Academy of the New Church has won five contests by more than 25 points this season, Sunday's blowout was nothing new.
Academy of the New Church got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Warren out in front who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. The game was Warren's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Bahsil Laster was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
The win makes it two in a row for Academy of the New Church and bumps their season record up to 6-2. As for Shabach Christian Academy Blue, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Academy of the New Church will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against St. Benedict's Prep at 5:00 p.m. on December 21st. Shabach Christian Academy Blue will be home for the holidays to greet Pallotti at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
