Janaelyn White was Nixon-Smiley's leading scorer, having posted eight points. White also led the team in assists with three. She held things down on the boards with six rebounds.
Nixon-Smiley has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-22 record this season. As for Cole, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-8.

Randolph will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 804th, while Cole is ranked 370th).
