On Friday Laconia take on Howards Grove at 7:00 PM. Laconia come in off of eight low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
Things haven't been easy for Laconia, and their game last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to eight. They fell to Winnebago Lutheran Academy 0-10.
Meanwhile, Howards Grove might be getting used to good results now that the team have three wins in a row. They were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Sheboygan Area Lutheran/Kohler/Sheboygan County Christian 40-0. The lopsides score is just par for the course this season for Howards Grove, who can brag about five blowout wins.
Howards Grove's victory lifted them to 6-2 while Laconia's loss dropped them down to 0-8. We'll see if Howards Grove's success rolls on or if Laconia are able to steal their positive momentum.
