Glenbrook South is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They skirted past Maine South 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted since May 7, 2024.
Ruby Garrett was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. That double was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Sophia Buckingham, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.
Garrett wasn't the only one making solid contact: Glenbrook South kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Nine must be Saint Viator's lucky number: they beat Nazareth Academy with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Lions came out on top against the Roadrunners by a score of 9-6. The win was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on three straight.
The team relied heavily on Maggie Ratzki, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and one double. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Kayli Burke was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.
Glenbrook South's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Saint Viator, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
