In what's become a running theme this season, Van Horn gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Fort Davis 62-9 at home. The high-flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Van Horn considering their 23-point performance the contest before.
Van Horn's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gio Corralez, who scored 16 points along with five assists and three steals. Corralez has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last four times he's played. Joey Anchondo was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Big Bend dropped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Van Horn, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.
