Oasis Academy has been on the road for three straight, but  on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Silver Stage Nighthawks at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Oasis Academy proved they can win big  on Saturday (they won by eight) but  on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Battle Mountain  8-6.
 The team  relied heavily on  Phynex Hunt, who  went 3-for-2 with two  triples, two  stolen bases,  and four  RBI.  Taylynn Maynez was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.
 Meanwhile,  even though Incline scored an imposing 13 runs last Saturday, Silver Stage still came out on top. Everything went Silver Stage's way against Incline as Silver Stage made off with  a  27-13 win.
  Kayla Volkov made a big impact no matter where she played. She  pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit (she also only allowed one  walk). Volkov was even better at the plate,  getting on base  in all six of her plate appearances with four  stolen bases, four  runs,  and four  RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games she's  played.
 In other batting news, Silver Stage got a  massive  performance out of  Amy Welch, who  scored five  runs and  stole six bases while  getting on base  in four of her six plate appearances. Welch has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Xavier Hines, who  got on base  in all six of her plate appearances with four  RBI, two  runs,  and a  stolen base.
 Oasis Academy's victory was  their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Silver Stage, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
 Friday's   game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Oasis Academy has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .618. However, it's not like Silver Stage struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .653. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
