After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pisgah, the Enka Jets were happy to have found some success on Friday. They snuck past Thomas Jefferson with a 55-51 win. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Enka's 20-point performance the matchup before.
Enka's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ali Crook, who scored 7 points along with 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Haley Fish was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
The victory got Enka back to even at 1-1. As for Thomas Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Enka will head out on the road to face off against West Henderson at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Thomas Jefferson, they will be playing at home against Weddington at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
