Oakfield-Alabama got a massive performance out of Avery Watterson, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one double. The Hornets are 4-2 when Watterson posts two or more stolen bases, but 3-6 otherwise. Jackson Gilbert was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Oakfield-Alabama's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Perry, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
