Baseball Game Preview: Greenwood Eagles vs. Woodmont Wildcats

The Greenwood Eagles will take on the Woodmont Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Greenwood made easy work of Woodmont and carried off a 7-1 victory.

Will Bice was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He is becoming a predictor of Greenwood's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 4-8 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Triston Lewis, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Greenwood was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

With the win, Woodmont broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-9. As for Greenwood, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
