On Friday, Sequoyah wasn't able to make up for their 33-0 defeat to Cascia Hall when they last met October of last year. Sequoyah has to be aching after a bruising 35-7 loss to Cascia Hall. The blowout was painful but not necessarily a suprise as Cascia Hall enjoys a considerable advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Sequoyah's loss pushes them down to 0-9. The win makes it two in a row for the Commandos and bumps their record up to 6-3.
Sequoyah will look to defend their home turf next week against Jay at 7 p.m. ET. Neither of these teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss. As for Cascia Hall, they will face off against Inola at 7 p.m. ET. After both of those teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
