It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Canyon Cougars can now relate to. They took a 20-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cedar Park. Canyon's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Cedar Park found their leader in underclassman Trae Hill, who rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns.
Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Cedar Park, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cedar Park will head out on the road to face off against Angleton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
