A big part of Foothill's victory came down to the chemistry between Ryder Dobbs and his top target Braxton Bonnett. Dobbs threw for 425 yards and eight TDs while picking up 17.7 yards per attempt while Bonnett picked up 237 receiving yards and five scores. With that strong performance, Bonnett is now averaging an impressive 112.4 receiving yards per game. Nixon Gasperosky also helped out as he racked up 110 receiving yards.
Foothill didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brody Dobbs and Jacob Ellsworth. Ellsworth got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Despite the loss, Basic still got an impressive performance from Louden Cahill, who picked up 44 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
